The Country Club:

The Westwood Shores Country Club is owned and operated by the Westwood Shores Property Owners’ Association (“POA”). It consists of an 18 Hole Golf course and Pro Shop, tennis courts and swimming pool, and a Club House with a 19th Hole Bar & Grill and Fitness Center. The Club is maintained by the “POA”; funds are provided by mandatory assessment fees as well as revenue from the Golf Course, Pro Shop, 19th Hole and Marina.

Westwood Shores, Trinity, Texas:

Westwood Shores is a subdivision in East Texas, developed in the 1970s by J. Belin. The approximately 1,300-acre property is on the shores of Lake Livingston, one of the largest Texas lakes. It contains over 800 homes, gated access manned 24/7, 26 miles of roads, several inland lakes, a marina, and marina store.

Westwood Shores Country Club Today:

Since the purchase of the Country Club by the POA, there are many improvements. Golf Course irrigation systems have been repaired and replaced; sand bunkers restored; trees removed to restore the beautiful open fairways; restrooms on the course remodeled. The three water holes continue to provide a challenge. A Pro Shop offers quality merchandise. Events such as evening scrambles, putting contests and regular tournaments are held. The sparkling pool and renovated bathhouses are in operation all summer. The Clubhouse itself has been renovated and is in daily use by property owners. The Fitness Center and 19th Hole Bar & Grill are open. Westwood Shores Country Club today provides not only the opportunity to play a round of golf in beautiful surroundings, enjoy a beer and good lunch, but to meet and play with the wonderful people who call Westwood Shores Home.
